Lemon poppy seed muffins

Oliver has been on a real tear lately, pleading for lemon poppy seed muffins multiple times each day. I'm not one to resist making muffins, though I'm also not a fan of the type in demand, but we've just been so busy that the bake-date  has been pushed back repeatedly. Almost as soon as I got home from delivering all the food this morning, Oliver picked up the requests where they'd left off yesterday. So, I said OK!

I still don't love them, but the boys each wolfed down two immediately so I'll call these a success nonetheless.
