Now, just as some additional info, I looked through the Wellshire website and found it fairly opaque re: how they actually treat their animals. They have a major contract with Whole Foods so you'd hope that partnership would ensure some real animal welfare commitment and accountability, but I wasn't real impressed with the site. It was wordy without being terribly substantive.
