Lemon cake on the horizon
/My lemony lemon cake (under Meyer Lemon Cake in recipes) is in the oven with not 20 minutes left. I am sooo in the mood for it- lemon zest, lemon juice, St. Germain, buttermilk, yogurt (didn't have the crème fraîche), butter. And then the lemon-powdered sugar glaze applied when the cake is warm so that it sinks in as it runs over and coats.
